ISA/PCI Slots for ribbon cables are no longer available in new PCs and new operating systems do not support old cards. Junge Control's E-SWAP is the conversion of ribbon cable to ethernet cable. This will update the connection between your computer and your Junge Control Panels. Depending on which E-SWAP option your company chooses, you may only be able to hook up your control panel to one computer or nearly any laptop or desktop computer. The communication speed between the computer and the control panel will differ depending on which E-SWAP option is chosen, too. Compatibility with new computer programs, such as Vista, will vary with each option.

	The Limited Series E-SWAP option is the best choice for those companies looking to be current with technology and who want the fastest communication available between control panel and computer. This option uses NEW technology to convert to ethernet. New internal parts will be inserted into your existing control panel which add to the longevity of the panel. This option is compatible with new computer programs, such as Vista.
	If your computer does not crash in the future and your company is not interested in upgrading and buying new computers or programs, this may be the option to choose.
