In the same manner as we have conducted our agricultural blending business for the past 29 years, Junge Control, Inc. works directly with customers to solve their biggest problems in the biofuel industry. The Fuel Manager has been built to run your biofuel plant in a fast and efficient manner that is user friendly for your drivers, accountants, and management team. The cost of the Fuel Manager is minimal in comparison to running your plant without it. See below for the most common problems cited by biofuel customers and our solution - Fuel Manager.

Problem 1: Your customers want different blends - biodiesel, gasohol, E-85, etc.

Solution 1: Instead of storing each blend in big expensive tanks, buying it pre-mixed from the terminal, or splash blending into the semi between the terminal and your bulk facility, let Junge Fuel Manager handle the blending. Store pure bio, pure ethanol. When your customer requests a blend simply use the Fuel Manager to accurately blend the mix at your plant into the semi. Reduce your inventory and space needs. You have the flexibility to blend any percent of biodiesel or ethanol your customer wants!

Problem 2: It's time to replace or remodel your bulk plant, but the cost is too high.

Solution 2: Junge Fuel Manager will reduce or eliminate valves, meters, pumps, and tanks. Talk to us before deciding exactly how you will change your plant. We have worked with numerous biofuel plants and have built our products specifically for their needs. The Fuel Manager has been designed to accurately blend the mix at your plant and transfer it into the delivery truck, eliminating the need for expensive storage tanks.

Problem 3: Truck drivers or sales drivers were hired to pick-up or deliver products on time, in all conditions. They were not hired to accurately blend products. They do not need the extra burden.

Solution 3: Fuel Manager accurately blends and records each transaction. It has an easy to use touch screen. The driver uses the touch screen to tell Fuel Manager how much of each blend or non-blend to dispense. They may also automatically add any additive to any compartment on the truck. The bottom line is the Fuel Manager can easily record the transaction, and the records are sent to accounting.

Problem 4: How to record both the gallons of products loaded to the truck and the new product made which has a different price due to the blend.

Solution 4: Fuel Manager records the amounts of products used (soy gallons, #2 dyed diesel gallons, additive ounce) needed for inventory. The product made (400 gallons B-20 #2 dyed premium diesel) is recorded for billing.

Problem 5: People make mistakes. Imagine trying to calculate the blend 2, 5, 7, 10, 11, or 20% of 712 gallons. For every 1 million gallons of biofuel, if the average compartment fill is 400 gallons, it takes 2500 fills. That is 2500 chances for error! Even worse, a driver may be forced to remember to turn on/off additive injectors and remember to switch tanks if not all need the additive.

Solution 5: Fuel Manager takes the quantities of any product, blended or not, with additives or not, and calculates mixes, turns on/off correct pumps and valves, and dispenses exactly what the driver asked for every time. It is quick and accurate. The driver has an easy to use touch screen that provides all the information for even the most complicated blend.

Problem 6: Driver's handwritten tickets can be inaccurate and difficult to read. These tickets will need to be transferred into spreadsheets.

Solution 6: When the transaction occurs Fuel Manager will make a ticket for the driver. It stores every transaction of every driver in a format that can be opened up as a spreadsheet on your computer. Below are the records kept:

- Driver number, name

- Truck number, name

- Date/time stamp

- Transaction number for this visit

- Products requested and their amounts

- Products dispensed and their amounts

- Products made(blends) and their amounts

- Additives added to products made/or dispensed, their amounts

- Optional information, such as odometer readings

From this data, you and your team can obtain:

- Individual daily/monthly/etc. amounts of individual products dispensed to each driver

- Individual daily/monthly/etc. and by load amounts of each blend, each additive dispensed to each driver

- Book inventories at the facility that can cross-check against tank levels

- Records of which truck was used

- A paper trail of blends if there is a question by your customers or tax auditors

- Loads per day/driver/facility

- Gallons delivered/mile driven

- Actual gallons of each blend made

- Loads and quantities bio lost if sold as straight diesel, also for ethanol sold as straight gasoline

- Actual gallons created of winterizing additives, premium additives, etc.

- Peak times trucks are at a facility

All of this data can be used by management and accounting to better run your business!
